Paris Olympics 2024

H.E. Tracy Ashley Grigsby, the Acting Head of Mission at the Paris Mission, toured the Olympic Village on Sunday, where Liberian and other international athletes are accommodated for the Paris Olympic Games. She was accompanied by two of the officers from the Mission. During her visit, Madam Grigsby met with the Honorable Minister of Youth and Sports, Hon. Jeror Cole Bangalu, who is also in Paris with his delegation to support the Liberian athletes. The two officials visited the village to have an appreciation of the venue the athletes are hosted, while also showering praises on them for their dedication and commitment to representing Liberia. The visit came at the time athlete Emmanuel Matadi was preparing for his semi-final competition in the Men’s 100m run on the same day. The Acting Head of Mission promised to host a farewell lunch at the Embassy for the athletes and officials before their departure from Paris.
