Liberia’s Minister of Agriculture Jeanine Cooper attended the Paris International Agricultural Show at Porte de Versailles, Paris-France 

 

On February 28, 2023, Liberia’s Minister of Agriculture, Jeanine Cooper, at the invitation of the Minister of Agriculture & Food Sovereignty of France Minister Marc Fesneau, attended the Paris International Agricultural Show at Porte de Versailles, Paris-France.
 
Organized for about half a century, the International Agricultural Show has brought together all players in the agricultural sector of the world. With Ministers from all around the globe in attendance, this year’s Show which is the 59th edition, focuses on agriculture & food sovereignty globally.
 
The theme is Agriculture: A Daily Life, with stakeholders encouraged to dialogue with different actors, focusing on trade while preserving the environment, according to the Minister of Agriculture of France.
 
Agriculture Minister Cooper shared notes on Liberia’s food security program and called for a progressive farming activities in agricultural production for sufficient food security. While at the program, the Minister had encounters with several invited Ministers of Agriculture and their French counterpart on how to explore opportunities for youth in Agriculture in Liberia Minister Cooper believes that “every possible outcome is possible including the best possible outcome”.
 
The Minister was accompanied by the Minister Counsellor/Chargè d’Affaires a.I. at the Liberian Embassy in Paris, France while H.E Amb. Tracy Ashley Grigsby is away on official business.
