President Sirleaf leads govt. officials to sign the book of condolence at the French Embassy in Monrovia

Singing BookH. E. Mrs. Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, President of the Republic of Liberia, led an array of senior government officials, including Hon. B. Elias Shoniyin, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Finance and Development Planning Minister Amara M. Konneh and others to the French Embassy near Monrovia, to sign the Book of Condolence following the Friday, terrorist attacks on Paris, France. Nearly 130 civilians, including other nationalities, were killed in those barbaric attacks, At least 350 others got injured, while 100 others were very critical. In an earlier press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, President Johnson Sirleaf sent a Condolence Message to the Government and People of the Republic of France. In the President’s Message to her French counterpart, H.E. François Hollande, President Johnson Sirleaf on behalf of Liberia,
extended deepest condolences to the French President, and through him, to the Government and People of France, particularly the bereaved families for the irreparable loss sustained as a result of the tragic attacks. “During this difficult period, I wish to, on behalf of the Government and
People of Liberia and in my own name, convey deepest condolences to you personally, the People of France, particularly, families of the victims.”
