The Consular Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Liberia in Paris provides consular and immigration-related services to Liberian citizens and foreign nationals within the Mission’s jurisdiction and countries of accreditation.
The Section work to protect the interests and welfare of Liberian citizens travelling, residing, studying, or working within the Mission’s areas of accreditation. It also provides information and assistance to individuals seeking to travel to Liberia.
Services for Liberian Citizens
Consular services available to Liberian citizens include assistance with:

Verification of Liberian citizenship and nationality claims;

Registration and documentation of births of Liberian children born within the Mission’s countries of accreditation;

Authentication and legalization of eligible documents;

Attestations and other consular certifications;

Emergency and welfare assistance to Liberian citizens, where applicable; and

General consular information and referrals.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: The Embassy of Liberia in Paris does not currently process or issue Liberian passports. Applicants requiring passport services should visit our nearest Passport Center within the Eurozone.
VISA SERVICES
The Embassy processes visa applications for eligible foreign nationals travelling to the Republic of Liberia.
Applicants are responsible for submitting all required documents and ensuring that their applications are complete. The Embassy reserves the right to request additional documentation or an interview where necessary.

The Embassy issues the following principal categories of visas:

Diplomatic and Official Passports
Holders of Diplomatic and Official/Service Passports travelling on official assignment and accompanied by an appropriate Note Verbale may be exempted from visa fees, subject to applicable Liberian regulations and reciprocal arrangements.

Payment of a consular or visa fee does not automatically guarantee the issuance of a visa or approval of a consular request. Applications are considered in accordance with the laws, regulations, and procedures of the Republic of Liberia.
DO NOT INCLUDE SHIPPING OR POSTAGE COSTS WITH YOUR VISA OR CONSULAR SERVICE FEE(S). Shipping or return-postage costs must be arranged separately from all visa and other consular fees.
Applicants are advised not to make non-refundable travel arrangements before receiving their visa.
